D.C.'s Different Drummers
DC's Different Drummers is the Washington, D.C. metropolitan only community band and one of the area's music organizations for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, family and friends with several performing goups including the Capitol Pride Symphonic Band (CPSB), Capitol Pride Winds, DC Swing! (big band), DCDD Marching Band, Pep Band, and several small ensembles.

Founded in 1978, Fortissima: DC's Feminist Singers (formerly: DC Feminist Chorus, then Bread and Roses Feminist Singers), is a non-audition chorus performing in an SSAA framework, facilitates understanding, acceptance, and cooperation among people of diverse backgrounds through the medium of music.
